WhatsApp has released its first Beta update of 2021. There are some new features that could be landing on your phone later this year.
From reports on WABetaInfo, there's a huge list of improvements planned out for the year. Some updates in the making include improved video and voice calls, better chat history backups, easier contact management, enhanced stickers, and various bug fixes.
The main feature that most users are looking forward to is the improvement on group calls. When the feature is enabled, any participant can be invited to join a call any time, even if he declines the call initially or that he missed the call earlier.
It is fair to say that most of use will be looking forward to the updates. Technology really has come a long way. Let's hope we have the new features soon.
